之后就是一系列的準(zhǔn)備工作。
11月25日，周一上午，HR發(fā)來郵件。兩件事兒：一個(gè)是讓我們回復(fù)包括身份證號，電話，學(xué)校等等，說是用來訂機(jī)票的�？磥磉@次終面也是聲勢浩大啊。另一個(gè)是在斯倫貝謝英文career的那個(gè)網(wǎng)站 http://careers.slb.com/createaccount.aspx上注冊，上傳中英文簡歷，還要選擇分類。PTE是Geoscience and Petrotechnical這個(gè)分類，選一個(gè)自己更相關(guān)的，我選了Geophysicist。
下午五點(diǎn)，又發(fā)郵件告知面試地點(diǎn)，面試名單，我感覺這封郵件主要是發(fā)給需要飛過來面試的外地的同學(xué)。
等到27號（周三）下午2點(diǎn)左右，發(fā)郵件具體告訴我們?nèi)�面需要的東西，具體如下：
Dear all:
Thank you for your application to Petro-Technical Engineer position in Schlumberger. Please check the attached interview schedule and do the preparation accordingly.
In the final interview, each candidate will present a PPT (~ 10 minutes) and then answer questions raised by segment representatives ( ~ 10 minutes). All in English.
Please make sure your PPT covers the following topics:
·         Self-introduction and the top one achievement in the past
·         Your research project (background, actual work and conclusion)
·         Which oilfield service segment in Schlumberger you want to join and why?
·         5 years plan from now
Some hints on the slides preparation:
·         Keep your slides no more than 10 slides.
·         control the file size no more than 8 M.
Important notes:
1.       send your PPT file to LadyL no later than 11:00 am, 1st, Dec. (if the file is delayed, we will consider that the candidate give up the final interview chance.)
2.       once the file is sent to LadyL, no more changes can be made.
3.       Please check the schedule carefully and arrive in Beijing office at least 30 minutes before your starting time.
還是分析了一下面試名單，30個(gè)人，多了中科大和同濟(jì)還有幾個(gè)清華的學(xué)生。男女比是3:2的樣子，碩士博士參半，碩士多一兩個(gè)。光地球物理專業(yè)就占了一半。我是第十五個(gè)面試的，下午第六個(gè)。
12月4日也是周三，剛好一周的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間。這一周過的還是比較痛苦的，設(shè)計(jì)PPT，對著PPT寫稿子，然后背下來，再練習(xí)，流程是這樣，但是我的痛苦是我沒有東西！在中科院系統(tǒng)讀研的同學(xué)都知道，我們的研究生制度是碩士第一年集體上課，見不到老師，就像大學(xué)一樣在一個(gè)校區(qū)，修夠了所有的學(xué)分，而且所學(xué)的東西可能和老師做的關(guān)系不大。之后第二年才回所，不用上課，一直在辦公室?guī)屠蠋熥鲰?xiàng)目或者學(xué)自己的東西。也就是說，我三年的碩士，本質(zhì)上只有兩年時(shí)間是跟在老師身邊的，所以我的碩士題目啥的定的都比較晚，我自己的研究一沒有創(chuàng)新點(diǎn)，只是跟著學(xué)東西模仿別人自己寫程序做，二我的模仿也沒模仿出來結(jié)果，尤其是這倆月找工作，畢設(shè)進(jìn)度很小。于是想來想去就只能主要介紹跟著老師做過的項(xiàng)目，捎帶提一點(diǎn)畢設(shè)。
做PPT：一共只有10頁，第一頁我無恥的貼了一張自己跳起來的照片，然后剛好雙手舉起來托住題目，To my love: Schlumberger…又無恥了一把。。。第二頁就是非常簡單的自我介紹，第三頁到第七頁是項(xiàng)目經(jīng)歷，先大概一個(gè)表格說下我做過的項(xiàng)目，接著主要介紹兩個(gè)項(xiàng)目，一個(gè)介紹的多，另外一個(gè)介紹的少，只是為了從這個(gè)項(xiàng)目引出我的畢設(shè)，再簡單介紹下畢設(shè)進(jìn)程。第八頁是那個(gè)top achievement，我自己感覺學(xué)術(shù)上沒啥成就，就干脆用這頁來介紹我的業(yè)余生活，說了下我愛讀書，喜歡戶外運(yùn)動(dòng)，愛健身，然后把那個(gè)成就落在能克服自己的懶惰，堅(jiān)持鍛煉磨練了意志上面，還好聽的解釋說因?yàn)槲业膶W(xué)術(shù)上沒有老師的知道沒有我的group的支持我自己是做不來的云云。然后想加入的部門一頁，五年計(jì)劃一頁。
一邊做一邊把面試要說的寫下來，做成了一個(gè)稿子，讀一下，念一下，大概是9分多鐘，思路上也沒有什么要改的，30號晚上就把PPT發(fā)過去了。

以下是我的稿子，我會(huì)把一些項(xiàng)目名字隱去，把主體展示一下，但是因?yàn)槿�面是單�?dú)面試，我是沒有機(jī)會(huì)看到別人的表現(xiàn)的，所以也無從比較自己這樣的思路到底是不是新穎，只是寫下來希望對大家有啟發(fā)吧。
Good afternoon. As you can see, Schlumberger is my true love for my career, so I am very glad to have this opportunity to be here, I hope you’ll like me as l like Schlumberger.


My name is CR.
I have six years of educational background of geophysics. I got my bachelor degree in 2011, in the China University of Geosciences, in Wuhan, Hubei province. During my study, I was always the top three of my major, so I earned different kinds of scholarships, totally about 6000 Yuan and I donated parts of them to the fund of my university to help the poor.
After graduated, I decided to continue my study in the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, the Chinese Academy of Science. Since then, I nearly participated in all the projects of my tutor. As you could see from the screen, but some of them I just help to do some file works as a student, I mainly joined the first two projects.


Ok, let’s see the first one: It’s about the four-dimension method in SAGD development. This is interesting; we all know that the steam and heavy oil has totally different density, and during this SAGD process the density of underground substances will change, so we use microgravity survey to monitor this variation of the reservoir.
At the beginning, it’s just a green thought, but our group collected gravity data year after year, and tried different methods to process it. Finally we ****.
Please look at these figures. These are the microgravity anomalies in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. We could see the ****.
So is it a effective and simple way to monitor the reservoir?


Wow, I don’t want to talk too much about the second project, it’s a general seismic data processing project, and thanks to this I learn how to fulfill a basic data processing with different business software, such as Omega2, CGG, GeoDepth and so on.
Through this project, I found that the pre-stack time migration can provide velocity model to PSDM, and it’s a important step to do AVO/AVA analysis, fracture detection and distribution, and the Kirchhoff method is one of the widely used method, because it is simple and effective. But nowadays the traditional method could not meet the image of complex structure, especially when the velocity shows the character of anisotropy.
Therefore, I take this topic as my master’s dissertation: Pre-stack Kirchhoff Time Migration for VTI Media.
The heart of Kirchhoff time migration is the double-square-root formula. In 1997, Alkhalifah developed it into this equation with one anisotropic parameter: nta.


First, I studied his previous work, and built these five horizontal layered models to compare the accuracy between his formulas with others. Then I wrote a program with C language to do the anisotropic migration. This is the migration test of a rack wavelet. The picture in the top left corner is the isotropic migration result done by Omega, and the right left corner is my anisotropic result with nta is equal to 0.1, put them together you could find the anisotropic wave front is a little bit fatter, so this is the reliable results. Recently I try to use one of the SEG model to test my program, and when this finished I want to discuss how two different methods influence the velocity model and even the AVO analysis. These work need to be done in the rest of my term.
Well, you know academic life of me, I work very hard and I ‘m proud of myself, but I do not consider it as my top achievement, because I could not done those without my group, my tutor.
Next I want to show another part of me.
I am a happy girl because I like reading and writing and I have so many interesting books.
I am a strong girl because I love sports, climbing mountain, hiking , Oh, that’s me in our sports meeting , and I workout at least three time a week, you can see me upside-down in a gym. I am in good shape and always in good mood, cause I know relax.
So here is my top achievement, I conquer my laziness; I stick to one thing since I entered my institute even without any companion. My will became unshakable; I never give up easily no matter how hard it could be.

See, that’s me, a happy girl who really want to join in your company especially the geophysical segment as a seismic data processor.
For one thing, Schlumberger is the largest oilfield service company, well known for its product and technology, not to mention the Omega2 is unequalled in this industry.
And I learned basic knowledge of seismic data processing; I am clear about the pressure, the trouble I may confront in the future. The most important thing is I want to progress quickly and want myself essential to a team.
To achieve this goal I made a plan for next five years.
The first year is time for transition; I need to orient myself in my group. The next three years all I need to do is to learn! Learn more and more! To engage projects as many as possible no matter land or marine, data processing or interpretation or inversion. This is the right time to board my horizon until I could lead a big project. But, to be a talent employee this is far from perfect, I need a point to dig, to go deeper and deeper. Maybe I need to be an expert to study the multiple, Maybe an expert study on anisotropy, maybe other kind of study to meet the need of whole industry, the need of my company, I must find this point in the fifth year of my career maybe earlier and dig this point to help to make innovation in the next five years.
Please trust me and give me time to achieve it. I won’t disappoint you.

之后為了防止出現(xiàn)一面的情況，還把相關(guān)項(xiàng)目的報(bào)告都拿來通讀了一下，關(guān)鍵字啊，能問的問題都準(zhǔn)備了一下，翻譯成英文，自己練習(xí)了一下，尤其是什么VTI啊，還有數(shù)據(jù)處理的流程，比如振幅補(bǔ)償怎么說，都背了一下，結(jié)果三面當(dāng)天還是忘，但是準(zhǔn)備過就能說個(gè)大概，再強(qiáng)調(diào)一下，問題準(zhǔn)備過回答和沒準(zhǔn)備過是完全不一樣的。
3號晚上，我特意讓男朋友借了一下他們組會(huì)的會(huì)議室，拿著投影儀練了一遍。還喊著兩個(gè)專業(yè)比較相關(guān)的閨蜜來聽。結(jié)果一講還是發(fā)現(xiàn)問題了，背的好好的，對著大屏幕拿著激光筆就不會(huì)說了，磕磕絆絆，說的和ppt的有點(diǎn)不太同步。之后讓閨蜜和男友提意見，提問題，他們都分別說了，比如問項(xiàng)目里我的實(shí)際工作，還提意見說，應(yīng)該具體描述我們怎么采集數(shù)據(jù)怎么苦怎么累。再比如其中一個(gè)女生參與過第一個(gè)項(xiàng)目的數(shù)據(jù)處理和項(xiàng)目匯報(bào)，就直接告訴我，人家問過她什么，可能會(huì)問什么，結(jié)果她說的一個(gè)問題，果然面試上被問到了。感謝閨蜜�。�！包括男朋友問，你的照片里有yilma的地震數(shù)據(jù)處理，你從這本書里學(xué)會(huì)什么？之類的問題，其實(shí)就是開口說開頭練，然后再讓人家從一個(gè)旁觀者，甚至外行的角度去提問你。這樣排練兩遍下來，我真的非常自信了。
面試當(dāng)天上午，我給第一個(gè)面試的博士姐姐打電話，她大概告訴我面試怎么樣，比如是單獨(dú)面試，一個(gè)小會(huì)議室，里面10個(gè)部門經(jīng)理，大概是什么人，有幾個(gè)老外。你講ppt不會(huì)有人計(jì)時(shí)，也就是說不會(huì)打斷你的，還包括之后最好不要著急走，可能會(huì)有部門經(jīng)理談話之類的。大概問了一下，心里就有底了，踏實(shí)了。于是穿著我借來的小西服（請鄙視我的窮酸，這么多面試基本上都是穿師姐的西服，忙乎的沒時(shí)間也沒錢買），下午一點(diǎn)就到就到了大廈。
到了發(fā)現(xiàn)上午的還沒面試完，休息室里還有必勝客的外賣披薩，可以吃。正在面的是科大的學(xué)生，我們隨便聊聊天，我感覺科大真心很出人才啊，發(fā)現(xiàn)有個(gè)女生，博士，提前兩年畢業(yè)。
然后就是等，一邊等一邊觀察吧。能感覺出，雖然公司說是不看重專業(yè)，但也不是，畢竟是PTE，還是希望專業(yè)比較相關(guān)的。部門的話，有DS：Data Service，主要就是地震數(shù)據(jù)處理與解釋的，有SIS：Schlumberger Information Solutions，做軟件的技術(shù)支持，教客戶用軟件，安裝軟件之類的。還有GPE：Geoscience Petroleum Engineering，這個(gè)我也不知道是干啥的。說真的我部門知道的好少啊，只有這三個(gè)了，不然我也不會(huì)只在面試?yán)镎f要處理，連部門名字都說不出來，他們很多人都是問的來這里的師兄弟，偏偏我認(rèn)識(shí)的師兄不是在這邊的，所以他也不知道，我也就沒有打聽到，網(wǎng)站上也沒有明寫。不過部門這個(gè)東西很多，而且每年不一樣，因?yàn)楣�司不斷在壯大，并購了很多，包括什么史密斯測井之類的，所以不知道也沒關(guān)系，基本上我們?nèi)�面之后都是如果哪個(gè)經(jīng)理對你感興趣就會(huì)出來單獨(dú)和你聊聊。
2:40的面試到3:40我才進(jìn)去。10個(gè)人吧，兩個(gè)老外。還是HR的LadyG主持。講的時(shí)候沒啥，比練的時(shí)候稍微有點(diǎn)緊張，但是我感覺效果不錯(cuò)。尤其是我說我愛健身，那張倒立的照片一放出來，好多面試官都笑，氣氛輕松了一些。
講完了，其中一個(gè)外國人，應(yīng)該是印度那邊的，口音非常重，問我項(xiàng)目中一個(gè)數(shù)字，為何選擇這個(gè)范圍的重力異常作為結(jié)果（口音好重啊，說了第二遍我才勉強(qiáng)聽懂，不過我一直微笑著，還問Do you mean?他說是我就回答了），剛好這個(gè)問題是練習(xí)的時(shí)候閨蜜問過的，還教我怎么答。于是我淡定的回答了。他跟著再問點(diǎn)什么，我回答還順便笑著說了我們在野外的經(jīng)歷，氣氛蠻好。
之后是一個(gè)很精干的小伙子，問：你用過這Omega，CGG，GeoDepth，那你比較一下這幾個(gè)軟件的特點(diǎn)吧。這個(gè)問題我雖然沒有準(zhǔn)備過，都是現(xiàn)成的答案，拼湊起來就是了，于是說我們主要用Omega完成所有的流程，Omega在行業(yè)內(nèi)確實(shí)是unequal的，CGG呢不太好用，操作很難，很多l(xiāng)oop，但是疊前時(shí)間偏移模塊比較好，主要用來做偏移的。GeoDepth就主要做深度偏移。
第三個(gè)問題是另一個(gè)白人老外，居然說英語口音也很重，讓我簡單說下地震數(shù)據(jù)處理流程，哈哈，又是背過的，不過很多專業(yè)詞匯忘記了，但是大概說下，覺得雖然說的啰嗦，不過都說出來了。
第四個(gè)問題，還是印度面試官，他讓我說下對各向異性參數(shù)的理解，我也是大概說了下我自己的理解，他人好好的，一直沖我笑，我說啥都點(diǎn)頭，弄得我一點(diǎn)都不緊張了。
貌似就這四個(gè)問題吧，要么就還有一個(gè)但是我忘記了。面完了我真是神清氣爽啊，不管結(jié)果如何，能發(fā)揮到最好，那種感覺相當(dāng)舒坦。之后就出來和大家說話了，很多人都在等面試官談話，也沒有走，我也等，大概半小時(shí)，就有個(gè)SIS的部門經(jīng)理問我是不是CR，說要和我談?wù)劇?br /> 先問我對SIS有沒有了解，我不太了解，經(jīng)理就給我簡單介紹了一下。都是一個(gè)行業(yè)，一聽就知道就是技術(shù)支持。經(jīng)理直接說，覺得我性格開朗，溫和，善于交流，適合他們這個(gè)部門，而且今年報(bào)處理的太多了，不可能要這么多人，我估計(jì)這是暗示我，處理部門不太會(huì)要碩士。而且我也確實(shí)喜歡這個(gè)，于是和經(jīng)理說：我非常樂意，而且我很喜歡到處走，多接觸一下，還說可能做處理會(huì)比較枯燥，這個(gè)工作我非常喜歡。又問了下工作地點(diǎn)，就在這個(gè)大廈，出差的話最多平均一個(gè)月兩個(gè)禮拜。問了下可不可以實(shí)習(xí)，也說可以。總之我更高興了很痛快的答應(yīng)了。
之后就是一邊輕飄飄的等offer，一邊告誡自己一定不會(huì)落選，或者落選了也沒關(guān)系，相當(dāng)矛盾，也有很多學(xué)生很著急，博士姐姐問了HR，說是下個(gè)禮拜五之前給答復(fù)。
在等offer期間有幾個(gè)小插曲，說來博君一笑。
面試回來向爹炫耀，我肯定能得到這個(gè)工作，爹說你簽合同了？我說沒有。爹又問我怎么能確定，我就說我感覺啊。爹就嚴(yán)肅的看著，說：你現(xiàn)在這么興奮，如果你被拒了，我都擔(dān)心你去跳樓。。。囧
雖然我自己感覺把握很大，但是也繼續(xù)找別的。期間面了一家業(yè)內(nèi)口碑還不錯(cuò)的私企。已經(jīng)算是大公司了，但是后來一面，二面就覺得和這種跨國公司真心沒法比。雖然公司環(huán)境不錯(cuò)，地理位置也好，但是對招聘的重視程度，還有招聘的形式，都讓人覺得很無奈。因?yàn)楹退箓愗愔x面試離得近，我就直接拿著同樣的PPT，但是改成了中文去面試，結(jié)果人家都我的性格發(fā)展愛好全然不感冒，讓做了個(gè)英文自我介紹，直接問你這項(xiàng)目是會(huì)跑流程還是能直接承擔(dān)一個(gè)項(xiàng)目，還問了下我會(huì)不會(huì)再讀博士。二面的時(shí)候更夸張，因?yàn)槟忱峡偅ㄒ还簿蛡z人）和前面的學(xué)生聊的太久，不知道后面還有3,4個(gè)，到我這里，直接說，給你5分鐘，說你會(huì)做什么就可以了，看到我的學(xué)校是中科院，還輕蔑的問，你做過項(xiàng)目吧，沒去搞什么研究吧。我很郁悶。和一起來面試的其他學(xué)生聊天，打聽到，這家碩士工資6k，好多都是要去新疆，其中一個(gè)女生告訴我們說，他有個(gè)師兄在這里，就告訴她，面試就說會(huì)做什么，獨(dú)立做了什么，用了什么軟件，就可以了，別的不用多說。有比較，更加讓我堅(jiān)定了去外企的決心。
還有一件事兒是中石化網(wǎng)申，期間告訴我，我的六級證書不合格。我的六級證書大學(xué)就丟了，一直用的是學(xué)校開的證明，但是現(xiàn)在說是中石化改革，只認(rèn)上海那個(gè)四六級考試證明開出的成績證明。我網(wǎng)上查了一下補(bǔ)辦要求，先要把學(xué)校開的證明，連同身份證復(fù)印件，還有回函掛號寄過去，還不接受當(dāng)面辦理或者快遞。最長大概45個(gè)工作日，是工作日！才能辦好。人家單位讓我在11月月底把補(bǔ)辦的證書掃面件給他，如今12月份了我也沒有拿到。

給大家的血淚一般的建議：把所有的證書，尤其是畢業(yè)證，學(xué)位證，四六級，二級之類的證書，還有各類獎(jiǎng)狀，保存好！最好拿到的同時(shí)掃描成或者拍照成電子檔！重要的丟了，盡快補(bǔ)辦，存了電子檔，即使原件丟了，憑電子版也好補(bǔ)辦，而且有的單位看電子版就可以了。

一個(gè)禮拜過去了，還沒有消息。12月12日，大家都相當(dāng)焦急了，我和博士姐姐在微信互相安慰吐槽，下午4點(diǎn)，我微信和她，我要去運(yùn)動(dòng)一下了，去健身房了。她說，去吧，說不定你運(yùn)動(dòng)完了，就收到offer了！我心煩意亂，說好。結(jié)果運(yùn)動(dòng)完了，她和我說她收到offer了，我還沒有。。。
吃晚飯的時(shí)候提前畢業(yè)的博士師兄也微信我說收到offer了，我還是沒有，我當(dāng)時(shí)心里壓著沉沉的，巨后悔讓人家收到offer和我說一下。。。。一晚上都抱著電腦手機(jī)反復(fù)看郵件，登陸郵箱，就是沒有郵件。我本來健身加上習(xí)慣是不吃零食的，結(jié)果一晚上吃了好多垃圾食品，還吃了一包酸辣粉，躺在床上看生活大爆炸，不想動(dòng)，哭不出來，也笑不出來，隱隱約約覺得是不可能了。說不上是什么感覺，男朋友來陪我，也說不出什么安慰的話。
11點(diǎn)多，睡了吧。拿著手機(jī)定鬧鐘的時(shí)候，發(fā)現(xiàn)郵件上有個(gè)小小的小紅1.

我基本上是尖叫地在屋子里跳了個(gè)圈。
    第二天大概問了下三面的同學(xué)，本來以為三面不會(huì)刷人的，采樣了8個(gè)人，錄取了6個(gè)。。。一面二面如果沒有錄取是不會(huì)發(fā)郵件的，但是終面被拒是會(huì)發(fā)郵件告知的。
